Does the HOA pay for security patrols? No. It is not cost effective. It makes better sense to file an insurance claim or call the police than to pay thousands of dollars for off duty police officers to sit for a few hours. Plus, with cameras we can now identify those who damage HOA property and fine them for the actions of guests or children.
